| Summary: | Title screen The paper describes an X-band vacuum calorimeter based on an alcohol-filled microwave absorbing load for measuring high-power microwave energy. The calorimeter sensitivity and calibration error are ~ 2,4 J/mm and ± 10 %, respectively. The calorimeter was used to measure the energy of subnanosecond microwave pulses with a peak power of ~ 10 9 W and energy in a batch up to 143 J.
