The paper presents measurement results on phase instability of X-band nanosecond Gunn oscillators with a pulse duration of no less than 20 ns. The possibility of power addition and phase locking in two nanosecond Gunn oscillators with Gunn diodes connected in series and in parallel inside the resonator is demonstrated. Current-voltage characteristics of the Gunn diodes placed in a strong electromagnetic field are plotted.
