| Summary: | Title screen The results of the research of ultrasound wave velocity and attenuation in low-carbon steel during low-cycle fatigue tests have been presented in this work. It has been found that the dependencies of acoustic parameters on the number of cycles have three stages. The first stage is connected with dislocation density growth in a specimen. The transition from the second stage to the third one can be used as a criterion of fatigue wear of metalworks and implemented for nondestructive ultrasound lifetime estimation.
