The author will show her experience in teaching Professional English using the concept of Blended Learning. Blended Learning is a new concept in teaching foreign languages however as every new thing it has certain advantages and drawbacks. The Moodle-based electronic course was developed for Master students with Power Engineering as the major in order to implement the Blended learning approach and to obtain the feedback from the students. The presenter will analyze positive and negative sides of her experience as well as discuss main challenges to be solved for successful application of Blended Learning approach in the foreign language teaching as a whole and in professional English Language teaching to students with non-linguistic major (on the example of Power Engineering) in particular.
