Biocompatible calcium phosphate coatings were formed from the ablation plasma fusion produced by irradiation of natural and synthetic hydroxyapatite target with power ion beams. The experimental work to increase the energy efficiency of coatings deposition by high-power ion beams method is carried on the TEMP 4M accelerator.
