The research target is Upper Jurassic sediments within Vasugan horizon. Identification of Vasugan and Naunak suites based on the differentiation and well log correlation and detailed lithological core analysis of Vakhsk, Ob and Protochni fields revealed the existing paleo-environments. It was established that continental facies significantly influenced sedimentation within the investigated territory.
