In this work, based on materials of Russian Federal State Statistics Service, has been studied the current situation on the labour market in Russian economy on the level of education of the employed population, the dynamics of the number of students in professional education institutions in the period from 1991 to 2013, and also performed the dynamic analysis of data on employees with higher education in the Russian economy for the period from 2000 to 2014. Based on the information about employment and real GDP forecast was generated future demand for specialists with higher education and real GDP for the period from 2015 to 2025.
