The article describes the method of analysis of the levels of vibration signals of a support machine rotor in the radial directions and the results of its application for the diagnosis of mechanical loosening of structures of rotating machines for vibration acceleration peak values. Information about correspondence of the degree of a defect 'mechanical weakening of a structure' to the relative level of acceleration in three frequency bands is given in a table.
