This paper reveals the application of the Hybrid Real-Time Power System Simulator (HRTSim) as a universal hardware and software platform for developing solutions to design and research of Intelligent Power Systems with active-adaptive networks. Also, features of HRTSim and experience of its application for solving tasks of development of methods and tools for control of regimes in Intelligent Power Systems with active-adaptive networks are briefly described in the paper.
