The article is devoted to discussion about the curriculum of the future. The term C-skills is not a scientific notion though but was coined in the talk between the members of TPU academics having refresher courses in University of Southampton on the program “Delivering through the medium of English” and Southampton University professors. Educational process has been changing constantly and modern tendency assumes that teacher is not the source of information and even knowledge as these may nowadays be found in the Internet and developed autonomously. That is why it is important to understand what role belongs to the teacher inside the curriculum of the future, what contribution the teacher will make to the educational process and what curriculum of the future will be. It becomes obvious that curriculum of the future will not only focus on content part, but on the skills developed in the students which will prepare them for complex innovative activity in the future. We noticed that many of such skills start with letter “C”: digital competence, critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, cognitive skills, cultural awareness, commitment and ability to cope with change, continuous (life-long) learning, and coping with complexity. There are more of course starting with different letters, but the main thing is the clear understanding of how to develop these necessary skills, how to embed them into the curriculum which will prove competitive on increasingly demanding educational market.
