The design of an electro-capacitive measuring transducer for the process inspection of the cable capacitance per unit length in the process of production is described. By analyzing the computer simulation results of the interaction of the electric field of the transducer and the electric cable on the COMSOL Multiphysics platform, the optimal design values of basic elements of the transducer are selected.
