The effect of interstitial hydrogen atoms on the plastic flow localization parameters in tensile tested stainless steel has been investigated. The studies were performed for the test original samples and after electrolytic hydrogenation for 24 h. The both deformation diagrams contain linear hardening stage. The plastic flow of the examined material in the two states has been found to be of a localized character and the evolution of localized center distribution depends on the deformation stages in the stress-strain curve. The autowave parameters (autowave velocity and autowave length) were measured for the two states. The length of the phase localized-strain autowave in the electrolytically saturated stainless steel is two times less then in the original one.
