In this paper we describe the choice of a geographic informationsystem for the representation of heterogeneous information on passenger transport.We show the description of the different types of information, structures, methods ofpreparation and practical significance for the passengers. Special attention is paid tothe user and developer interfaces comparison of popular GIS systems.
