Results of experimental and theoreticalinvestigations of electro discharge demolition ofconcrete blocks with breakdown initiation by explodingwire have been presented. Metallic wireusage has been enabled to decrease the operatingvoltage of generator, to increase the discharge gaplength and hence, the channel energy that has beenleaded to the demolition build-up at electroburst.Dynamics of electrical energy transformation tothe wave energy and stress field formation havebeen considered.
