The paper reports ecogeochemical characteristics of Ob-Tom interfluve ground water based on study of natural geochemical water types with application of geoinformation technologies.Underground water of Ob-Tom interfluve are used for drinking and household water supply of population of Tomsk district. Due to this, quality assessment of underground water has a high significance. Stationary observations of dynamics of underground water of Meso-Cenozoic sediments and Paleozoic units on described territory are carried out since 1962. Authors have systemized chemical composition data of more than 15 000 samplings of drillholes which intersect Neogen-Quarternary, Paleogene and Upper-Cretacious sediments and Paleozoic units on the territory of Ob-Tom interfluve. In this work, geochemical types of underground water were calculated, which allowed estimation of unbiased background concentrations of chemical elements with consideration of genetic peculiarities of underground water generation and acquiring base information for assessment of ecogeochemical status of water objects. Results are provided in form of maps, tables and graphs.
