Samenvatting:Title screen
The paper shows the results of questionnaires’ surveys conducted by Tomsk Polytechnic University relating to its Bachelor Programs in Chemical Technology and Electrical Engineering. With regard to the topics of CDIO Syllabus under 2 layers of detail (X.X.), stakeholders including employers, alumni, professors and students have been asked to what level of attainment the programme learning outcomes should strive for, and compare this with what level they evaluate is achieved in the current curricula. We compare data received on each programme and also data of programmes among themselves. The results of the surveys were used in: - specifying the levels of learning outcomes to be achieved in each programme, - promotion of programme/ module learning outcomes adjustment, - inspiring faculty and programme designers “to look about” and to cooperate closely with industry, - involving employers into constructive dialogue on what learning outcomes graduates have to possess. One of the important issues is reflection of students and staff on their commitment and responsibility for achievement of learning outcomes. The paper reviews the methodology and procedure of questioning and describes TPU policy in engineering programmes improvement.
