Samples of phophate glass of a general composition (mol. %) 50P 2O 5-20Li 2O-30ZnO: x E 2O 3(with x ranges from 0.5 to 5 wt. %) were prepared for which cathode-luminescence spectra were measured. The observed peaks are attributed to the f - f transitions of the rare earth ions. The spectroscopic properties of the obtained glass were studied. Effects of high energy electron pulse density on the emission intensity and decay time were investigated. The emission spectral characteristics were studied at different temperature.
