| Özet: | Title screen A study has been made of the regularities of heat and mass transfer in the ignition of a mixture of an oxidant and a liquid-fuel vapor entering the ambient air from the surface of a portion of fabric impregnated with a fire-hazardous fluid. The dependences of the ignition-delay time on the initial temperature of the particle and the volume fraction of the fluid in the fabric material have been established. Investigations have been performed for three popular fabrics (wool, silk, and linen) and three typical fire-hazardous fluids (gasoline, kerosene, and diesel fuel).
