The He, Kr, Ar and Ar-N 2 plasma jets driven by one barrier discharge operated at atmospheric pressure were developed. It was shown that at applied voltage of several kV with pulse repetition rate of tens of kHz at gas flow rate of 0.5 m 3/h it is possible to generate stable discharge with plasma effluent length up to several centimeters. On the example of plasma treatment of a zeolite-containing catalyst, we demonstrate that the catalyst’s activity in zeoforming process in high octane gasoline under conditions of virgin benzene conversion has been increased.
