The behavior of FTDO and its mixtures under laser and electron beam irradiation has been experimentally studied. The initiation thresholds were measured and kinetic parameters of decomposition were studied. The sensitivity and time characteristics of FTDO and its mixtures were compared to those of heavy metal azides and PETN.
