Operation of single switch in a cavityhaving a number of output ports can provide thesynchronous energy extraction through the ports.The total output pulse power could reach a multiplevalue compared to the power of the travelingwave as a component of the standing wave in a cavity.The analysis of compressor operation wasbased on the scattering matrix method. Experimentswere run with the S-band model of a compressor.The output combined power value wasthree times as much as the traveling wave power ofthe storage cavity. Maximum amplification was23 dB, pulse power – 400 MW and pulse width4 ns.
