The magnet circuit of a betatron with magnetic biasing in which the field winding is connected in series-opposition to the compensating winding is considered. This magnet circuit has been experimentally investigated with an electromagnet of a МИБ-6 commercially produced betatron. The feed circuit for the magnetic circuit of the betatron with magnetic biasing that ensures extraction of electrons beyond the radiator at the end of the acceleration cycle was developed. The betatron with magnetic biasing was tuned for operation at a 6-MeV kinetic energy of accelerated electrons in the extracted beam and a pulse repetition rate of 50 Hz. Dose-field distributions of the extracted electron beam are presented.
