This article deals with the forms and means of expressing the semantic field of aberration in the novel «Neuromancer» by W. Gibson in English. The core and near periphery of mental and physiological components of this semantic space were revealed. The interpretative field was also considered as the distant periphery of this mental unit. The author used semantic and contextual analyses, distinguishing the main components.
