Boron carbide ceramics are produced by SPS sintering. The presence in the ceramic samples of particles of the second phase located at the joints of grain boundaries was revealed. High-speed thermal treatment of ceramics by a pulsed electron beam has been carried out. Revealed the dissolution of inclusions of the second phase.
