The current trends in the digitalization of the economy and their importance for the employment of older people are considered. An overview of the employment of elderly people by age profiles, gender differences, as well as in the sectoral structure is made. The qualitative composition, peculiarities of employment regimes and problems of employment of elderly people have been studied.
