The article discusses the advantages of developing control system for a gasinsulated switchgear (GIS) in SCADA Trace mode. The main advantage is to save money on designing and programming each cell. The purpose of the work is to design automation circuits, equipment and mnemonic circuits for each individual cell element using editing capabilities of Trace mode program.
