In the present study our attention is paid to the atomic structure of palladium-silver alloy with hydrogen in its octahedral and tetrahedral sites. The investigation of such alloy is of great interest because diffusion membranes for hydrogen purification are made of this material. It was found that with increasing silver concentration in palladium, the hydrogen binding energy in the compound of palladium with silver decreases. In Pd0,75Ag0,25H0,25 and Pd0,5Ag0,5H0,25 compounds hydrogen binding energies exhibit both positive and negative values in dependence on the location of hydrogen atoms relative to silver atoms.
