The article focuses on the study of the essence of the phenomenon of an entrepreneurial university. A retrospective analysis of the specifics of the activities of the higher scientific school was carried out. It is established that the transformation of modern scientific knowledge, the development of technoscience is one of the factors in the formation of a new generation of university. It is shown that the implementation of the “triple helix” model based on technological platforms and competitions suggests the presence of an integrated education in the innovation economy.
