| Summary: | Заглавие с титульного экрана This paper investigates profitability of automotive industry enterprises in Russia broken down by types of ownership. Research method is variance analysis. Research period is 2012-2016. We found that enterprises in FO reacted most sharply to the crisis. Enterprises in RO showed a stable dynamic of profitability, but did not take advantage from the problems of enterprises in FO. In 2016, we can talk about the exit from the crisis and a significant (statistically significant) improvement in the net profitability of enterprises in RO and FO. Enterprises in RO came to the pre-crisis level of profitability, while enterprises in FO exceeded the pre-crisis level. Enterprises in JO could not get out of the crisis in 2016 and almost 50% of these enterprises remain unprofitable. The revealed patterns and trends of the net profitability dynamics in the automotive industry should be taken into account in the process of stimulating this industry in Russia. |
