The article is devoted to the creation of an intellectual decision support system for road and climatic zoning of territories. The brief review of the problem area is given, the problems arising under the existing system of zoning used in the Russian Federation are revealed. The urgency of creating an intellectual decision support system for road and climatic zoning of territories is substantiated. The bases of construction of the developed intelligent system DOCLIRAY are offered, the architecture and approaches to software development are briefly described. The results of approbation of the system on the data of the West Siberian region are given. The ways of further development are given.
