Copolymers of l-lactide with ε-caprolactam were synthesized by ring-opening polymerization method. The maximal molecular weight was achieved in the case of joint use of Sn (Oct)2 - lauryl alcohol as the “catalyst - co-catalyst” system. The copolymers were investigated by several methods, including gel-permeation chromatography and IR-spectroscopy.
