This work is dedicated to methods of obtaining Ni/Au nanotubes by template synthesis using polymer membranes, by sequential chemical and electrochemical deposition of nanotubes. Additionally in the paper their morphological and structural properties. It is found that in contrast to Ni and Au nanotubes, in Ni/Au nanotubes there is the preferential texture direction (111), confirming the assumption that the preferential Ni/Au nanotube growth is along the pore walls of template. EDA and XRD methods have been applied to determine the degree of the oxidation and the appearance of oxide compounds in the structure of the synthesized samples.
