The relations emerging during oil and gas transportation are regulated by statutory acts of companies realizing the transportation. The subject of legal nature of the contract of oil and gas transportation is controversial and doesn't have any clearcut answer. Different authors classify the contract of oil and gas transportation as a shipping contract, paid service contract, barter contract, etc. The aim of this study is to examine characteristics of the contract of oil and gas transportation, as well as approaches to define the legal nature of the contract. |
