The paper shows the modeling and calculation of the luminous flux loss when illuminated greenhouses HPS lamps. Modeling performed in the program DIALux EVO. It is shown that the loss of light due to the reflection of the light flux from the surface of the leaves can reach 21.68%. It is proved that the calculated losses arise due to the fact that the maximum reflection of green leaf emission maxima coincide with HPS lamps. It demonstrated the use of LED lights with the specialized spectrum of radiation reduces the loss of luminous flux of 17.2%.
