In the course of the work the influence of temperature on the morphology and phase transformation of ZrW[2]O[7](OH, Cl)[2]∙2H[2]O and ZrW[2]O[8]was studied. X-ray diffraction study of the phase composition was performed. The precursor ZrW[2]O[7](OH, Cl)[2]∙2H[2]O was decomposed to X-ray amorphous state above 200 °С with the subsequent formation and growth of crystals ZrW[2]O[8] up to 600 °С. Above 800 °С zirconium tungstate was decomposed into ZrO[2]and WO[3].
