It was studied the influence of exo, exo-N,N'-ethylene-di(norbornene-2,3-dicarboximide) (exo-C2D) on the physical and mechanical properties of the polymer obtained from a mixture of exo,exo-and endo,endo-dimethyl esters norbornene-2,3-dicarboxylic acid. . It was found that exo-C2D can be used as a modifying agent in ROMP and result in an increase of the physical and mechanical properties of the polymer such as tensile modulus and flexural and tensile strength.
