Synthesis of filled composite materials based on polymer matrices is an actual problem for modern science and technology. However, polymeric composites filled with nanomaterials practically unknown. We propose a method of synthesis of iron nanoparticles surface-modified polymer-based material to obtain composite. Surface-modified nanoparticles are prepared by arenediazonium tosylate. To the surface of the nanoparticles instilled aminophenyl groups. Obtained material was acylated with endo-5-norbornene-2,3-dicarboxylic acid anhydride under usual conditions. The resulting modified nanoparticles investigated by IR spectroscopy, TGA and elemental analysis. Then based on the obtained nanoparticles were synthesized composite materials during the ROMP-process. Based on these studies the obtained nanocomposite material can be considered as promising for further study of the mechanical and other properties.
