When you create a model to solve two major problems: the construction of geometry and texture models. Map of heights - a two-dimensional map is used to store the heights of the landscape. The use of photorealistic textures is an important aspect when creating 3D-models. At present, there are many two-dimensional maps and individual sites of the planet, but the two-dimensional maps are not hand over all impressions of the terrain, the slope of the mountains and the depth of the depressions. In order to increase the impression of the area are three-dimensional maps, which represent more selected areas.
