A program for tracking people in the video stream was developed. It was designed for pre-testing and identifying the weaknesses of the algorithms and solving the problems of tracking methods. It is established that there is a need for more rapid and less sensitive motion detection algorithm in the video. It was concluded that further research and development will be focused on the usage of neural networks on extraction moving object from its background.
