When teaching foreign students in Russian for the disciplines of technological courses one of the problems is the lack of full conformity of technical terms translation. In dictionaries the word corresponds to several variants of translation, and for technical terms from different industries is sometimes different on the meaning. In most cases foreign students have no practical experience in the field of mechanical engineering, do not know used terms and even when properly translated have no idea what it is. Therefore much attention is focused on the explanation of each word or term, it is verified whether the student understands their meaning. About methods of teaching in the classroom and at home preparing for foreign students are reported. Communication is also used on the Internet, links to electronic resources.
