Influence of the modified mixture on the corrosive properties of the iron in two conditions: 1) without the addition of a modifier mixture (MM), and 2) after the introduction of MM was investigated. By scanning electron microscopy the microstructure of samples before and after corrosion resistance was studied. It was established that introduction of the MM with a reducing agent (Na3AlF6) leads to changes of the morphological structure change in the ratio of main phases, and also reduces the rate of corrosion and increases corrosion resistance.
