Optical properties of biocompatible coating based on silver-containing hydroxyapatite were studied by the method of spectroscopic ellipsometry. The coating was deposited by radio-frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering on silicon substrates. As the results of research the data of reflective index and coating thickness were obtained. These results allow us to obtain the dependence between optical constants, coating thickness and geometric arrangement of the substrate holder.
