|a The purpose of this research is description a technology of augmented reality. Augmented reality is thecollective name for all gadgets, programs and projects that enable us to see the world a little bit different (with additional object and etc). We begin with a history and evolution technology of augmented reality. After that we briefly describe basic principles of work. The next phase of the paper involves a two general classification of this technology and simple their description. At the end of this research we tell about application of augmented reality in general. And, as an example, we briefly describe Volkswagen's technology which called "X-raying".
