| Summary: | An algorithm for quantitative determination of material entrainment degree during metal item corrosion from results of the thermographic examination is described. An analysis of experimental data for the steel plates with 3 mm thickness showed that the acceptable accuracy of defectometry is attained at the corrosion more than 20% of full wall thickness.
