| Summary: | The content of total and mobile iron compounds was determined in 55 peat samples collected from ten deposits in the central part of Western Siberia. The content of mobile iron compounds varied from 0.03 to 5.02%. The pedogenic factors affecting the mobility of iron are discussed.
