Sumario:An experimental setup for measuring the transmission coefficient of high-temperature two-phase flame jets in the visible range of the spectrum is described. Transmission coefficients of the flame plasma of burning pyrotechnic mixtures containing a condensed disperse phase for radiation from argon and helium-neon lasers are measured at different times from the onset of ignition. The transmission spectrum data are processed to determine the granulometric composition of the disperse phase in the range of 0.05 - 2.0 μm. Model aerosols are used for calibration. The data processing program is tested using two methods. For a total error of 5% in the transmission coefficient, the error in the dispersion does not exceed 11%.
