Summary:A study has been carried out of the deformation of films based on two-phase alloys of poly(ethylene terephthalate) and polystyrene which upon stretching do not separate into layers with an interface. It was shown that a transition layer with increased rigidity exists at the interface. Its thickness has been calculated and possible causes for its formation are considered.
