Summary:	Title screen This work investigates the topic of smuggling in the modern world. After all, today in Russia it acquires enormous scales. First of all it is due to illegal exports and imports. This paper describes the various causes of the spread of contraband. The article also discusses methods of combating smuggling at the present stage. Results of the work done and formulated the basic conclusions on this issue. Данная работа исследует тему контрабанды в современном мире. Ведь сегодня в России она приобретает огромные масштабы. Прежде всего это происходит из-за нелегального экспорта и импорта. В работе описаны различные причины распространения контрабанды. Также в статье рассматриваются методы борьбы с контрабандой на современном этапе. Подведен итог проведенной работы и сформулированы основные выводы по данной проблематике.
