There is a description of the seismicity activation in the Altai-Sayan region in 2003–2012. The seismic aftershock events affect the hydrodynamic condition and the quality of the ground water including its value of the volumetricradon activity in the Altai Republic after the Chuisky (Altay) and Tuvinian earthquakes. The values of volumetric radonactivity in water at the water-intakes in 150 settlements were statistically analyzed in 2003–2012 (3 500 definitions). Itwas found out that during the seismic events the value of radon activity in the ground waters depends on the distancefrom the epicenter, the intensity of the earthquake and hydrogeological condition.
