Optical properties of biocompatible coatings based on hydroxyapatite and titanium oxides, grown bymethod of magnetron sputtering were investigated by method of optical ellipsometry. In the study the opticalproperties of the coatings were investigated. Refractive index and permittivity of the coating versuswavelength were obtained. The thicknesses of coatings were measured also. The data rendered make possibleto determine the growth rate of coatings.
